Beginning November 15, DRS Meetings will held in Room 235 of the Lake County Administration Building. DRS reviews consist of ministerial and non-ministerial development applications. A Ministerial application is one that can be reviewed and/or approved by the staff and includes preliminary plats, all types of site plans, pre-submittals, and minor plats. A non-ministerial application is one with a board (public hearing) destination and includes planned developments (PUD, CP, MP and Mixed Use Quality Districts), conditional use permits, and rezoning applications. Effective June 14th all DRS meetings will meet for a full day every other week, on Thursday, over the course of the year, twenty-six (26) meetings per year.

The Lake County Board of County Commissioners meetings may consist of several components, including work sessions, discussion agenda items (departmental business), consent agenda items and public hearings. Lake County residents are encouraged to attend the meetings and to speak at public hearings. The Board normally meets in regular sessions the first, third and fourth Tuesday of each month. Special meetings and/or work sessions may be called as necessary. While public comments may not be taken at these work sessions, the public is invited to attend.
