Minimum Qualifications:
Requires high school diploma or GED, and one year of college or vocational school education in automotive mechanics with two (2) years of related experience.

Requires a valid Florida Class “B” CDL license – or must be obtained within 6 months of employment; may be required to possess or obtain technical certification(s) as deemed necessary by supervisor (including but not limited to general pesticide application, forklift certification, ASE Certifications in Automotive / Truck Repair and/or EVT Certifications.)

Job Summary:
Performs skilled mechanical repair work on any of the following: diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles, trucks, heavy and light equipment, boats, spray equipment used by the County, as well as other mechanical systems, ensuring that repaired equipment runs properly and safely. Duties are performed in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Job Summary:
Responsible for enforcing land development regulations and Lake County Codes and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of Lake County's citizens. Interprets regulations and codes to customers and the general public, investigates code and regulation violations and assesses penalties, providing testimony in cases of non-compliance, and performs related tasks as required.
